PHI Coalition
The transition to a regenerative world requires chain cooperation. Despite the strength of individual organizations and individuals, we face a task that requires cooperation to close resource chains, reduce CO2 impact and increase biodiversity. PHI Factory is convinced that involving supply chain partners is a requirement to enable your organization's sustainable ambitions. To realize this, we have set up PHI Coalition.
Nice idea, I hear you thinking, but what does this look like in practice?
Here's how! PHI Coalition has developed several coalition programs that organizations can participate in. Through thematic and working sessions, these programass focus on learning (knowledge), development (goals), innovations (startups from our SDG ecosystem) and collaboration (coalition building) where attention is paid to the realization of quick wins and microchanges.
These programs are divided into four different categories:
- Product coalitions
- Industry coalitions
- Organization coalitions
- Network coalitions
Product coalitions
A product coalition focuses on making products circular by involving the entire chain from design to processing. This is done through 1-2 year programs with life cycle analysis research, periodic consultations and everything is focused on common goals and multiple value creation in the chain.
Industry coalitions
Some industries can have a great impact on a regenerative society. Think, for example, of ICT in reducing CO2 emissions or Facility Management in reducing corporate waste. Here we develop programs in cooperation with government and industry, focusing on both procurement and supply and are concretized in a pledge document with themes, working groups and cooperation agreements.
Organization coalitions
Often organizations have sustainability ambitions that they cannot achieve alone. An organization often purchases products or services from suppliers. These suppliers, in turn, often have suppliers. By uniting suppliers and the client in a coalition with a joint BHAG, an acceleration can be made by realizing sustainability ambitions in partnership. This program focuses on small iterations to run or develop pilots, with the goal of having the coalition be self-managing after a year.
Network coalition
EA networking coalition encourages learning from each other, sharing best practices and gaining inspiration to move forward together toward regenerative goals. This is accomplished by forming a community that visits inspiring locations and organizations. The initiative includes an annual program with four deep-dives, a group tour and regular study sessions.
