The CO2 Deep Dive maps your organization's full climate impact in great detail. In addition to Scope 1 and Scope 2, we pay extensive attention to Scope 3 emissions, striving for the highest level of detail and precision. That means we use specific data and emission factors as much as possible, rather than a generic approach based on expenditures. This ensures a deep and realistic understanding of your actual climate impact.
We express the climate impact in CO2 equivalents. This involves converting the emissions of various greenhouse gases - such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) - into an amount of CO2 with the same warming potential. This allows us to accurately determine not only CO2 emissions, but also the contribution of other greenhouse gases to the total climate impact of a product or service.
